About Me

Hello! My name is Erin, and as you have probably already figured out, I love getting creative with Close to My Heart scrapbooking supplies.  I live in California on a farm with my husband of 15 years, two adventurous boys, 4 exuberant dogs and a myriad of barnyard friends. I am so excited to share my love of scrapbooking and paper crafting with you. I have been an Independent consultant for Close to My Heart for over ten years. I’ll never forget the first time I was introduced to this wonderful product. Having an scrap-tacular time at a scrapbooking retreat, I spied this amazing organizational system. It was then, when I first learned of Close to My Heart and after perusing the catalog, my wish list was so long I decided to become a consultant!

Preserving life’s moments is about so much more than adding photos to paper. I grew up in a family that took pictures, but my parents would throw the undeveloped film into drawer. Once in a great while they would have the whole lot of it developed. We’d gather around the table to relive these precious memories, sharing laughter and telling stories. The photos would then be placed in a box for safe keeping and tucked away where they were forgotten. I believe our memories should be cherished. Scrapbooking is about the magic of storytelling! With the right pictures, stories and scrapbooking supplies, we can work together to bring your stories to life.

I created this website to inspire you to carve out “you time” and get crafting! We are busier than ever, but there is good news. Close To My Heart makes it easy to create beautiful projects. Their exclusive color palette eliminates the guesswork from mixing and matching products. All the colors in their paper packets, card stock and ink coordinate beautifully. Since it is already put together, you will have more time for creativity! On this website, you will find project ideas, the latest Close To My Heart products, workshops on the go, etc.
